New Home Broken Arrow | What Floor Plans Are Available

Hey everybody, Katherine here with your weekly podcast for Shaw homes, where we are going to talk about new homes and broken arrow once again. So I thought today we’d maybe go over a little bit about the function that Shaw homes puts in their plans. When building new homes in broken arrow, we can talk about the sizes of the rooms. We’re going to talk about how certain furniture fits. We can talk about some extensions for your garage. If you’re interested in adding a little something, um, as far as space goes in the garage. So just about, we’re just going to talk about some different things, um, as far as how we can increase the functionality of your new home broken arrow. So the first thing that I want to talk about is just going to be about the open concept floor plan. So the open concept floor plan is exactly what it sounds like.

Um, instead of having a lot of things closed off by walls and having individual rooms and your new home broken arrow, you’re going to have quite a bit of open space. So this means a lot of archways instead of doors. It also means a lot of larger openings into rooms, such as your study and your dining room. This is also going to mean lots of space for furniture in your new home, in broken arrow. One thing that I’ve had quite a few clients ask for is that they have, although a lot of people are getting out of having a formal dining room in their new homes and broken arrow. A lot of people still do have a large dining room table that they’re trying to fit just for those events. Um, for customers who tend to have a lot who tend to host a lot of holidays and their new homes in broken arrow are going to need an area to put their large dining room table in.

Perhaps it’s just a fairly family heirloom that they’re wanting to display in their new home, in broken arrow so that they are able to, um, just, you know, have it on display and only need it or only use it whenever they need it in their new home, in broken arrow. So we’ve got several floor plans, um, that actually would fit a large dining room table. Um, in particular I’m thinking of an extremely large dining room table, at least nine feet long where you could fit, um, at least eight to 10 people on a three or four

We’re on each side. And then one on each end. It may even be, you know, maybe even a little bit longer like that. Perhaps if you had a 10 or an 11 foot table, we’ve actually got several floor plans that you can,

I can build for your new home broken arrow. And those are all going to fit that large,

Um, table. The first one that I’m thinking of is the Greenville

And that one is a really unique new home

In broken arrow. And that one’s going to have,

I have a large open dining area. It kind of flows from your, from the entryway in new homes and broken arrow that we build, um, out into the great room. And then that of course flows into the kitchen. And then you’ll have your neck on the backside of the kitchen and new homes in broken arrow as well. So this particular one, there’s plenty of room in that, um, entryway slash uh, formal dining area in the front of the new homes in broken arrow in the Greenville model. So you’ve got plenty of room there for your table and chairs, and also it won’t feel cramped. It’s not at all closed in and it actually has, I believe it’s a 19 foot ceiling. So it’s a very grand entrance and our new homes in broken arrow, as well as it gives you plenty of room to move around while you are entertaining or dining in new homes and broken arrow.

Another plan that I’m thinking of that would

Fit furniture really well is going to actually be your Prescott and your Monterrey. Those are both similar and that they have

An open dining room that isn’t quite as open as the Greenville. It does have a couple of columns. The, uh, there’s another plan that’s like that as well, the corrupt, the Crescent. And that’s just kind of, um, those are all new homes in broken arrow that we build the Crescent, the, um, Prescott and the Monterey are all going to have your open concept, formal dining as well. So you have that little area off to the side of your great room, not necessarily your nook, but more of an open dining space. That’s going to be open on two sides instead of having that wall. And that disconnect the two between in your new home, in broken arrow. So you’ve got, um, you’ve got those that are going to have your open dining room and those just having two less walls or I’m sorry, one less wall really helps you to be able to fit some unique and large furniture into new homes in broken arrow.

So moving on, um, let’s talk about another plan that would fit a large dining room table. Actually, let’s go ahead and move on and talk about other pieces of furniture that you may have that are kind of hard to, um, put in, uh, your new homes in broken arrow that maybe don’t have as much of an open concept or that just are not, um, as furniture friendly as some of the other new homes in broken arrow. So one of the first things that we’re going to talk about is perhaps if you have a grand piano, um, any piano really, but a grand piano specifically, just because it is a rather large piece of furniture and not only is it large as kind of an awkward shape, um, although a lot of people are putting them in their new homes and broken arrow. So the, um, all of those plans that I just talked about, the Monterrey, the Greenville and the Prescott are all going to have, like I said, that open concept, dining room area, um, I believe the Crescent was one of those also.

So they’re all going to have that open concept dining area, um, that would be gorgeous to display a piano, or if you had a really large Hutch with some nice dishes that you may want to, um, display in your new home, in broken arrow, uh, those would all be great things that you could put in those areas, um, to just be able to still have your things on display. Um, and so that they’re not completely hidden in your new home, in broken arrow. Also, uh, I’m trying to think of another, if some other things that a lot of people are going to needing to be, um, fitting large furniture in. So just the idea that everything now is larger. You’re going to find that in a lot of people’s new homes in broken arrow, you’re going to have just larger TVs in general, furniture’s larger. Now your couches are going to be more plush. And,

Um, a lot of people are getting more into sectionals now instead of just a regular couch and loveseat combination or a couch and a perhaps recliner combination. So all of these things are just larger pieces of furniture that people are putting in their new homes and broken arrow and everywhere else. And Shaw homes is really just trying to have all of those things. Um, we’re trying to keep all of those things in mind so that when you are building your new home broken arrow, you are going to have plenty of room to fit all of that awesome furniture in that you have worked so hard to acquire, and that may have sentimental value and that you are going to want to keep in your new home broken arrow forever and ever.
